Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Law
Christopher Serkin is a leading expert in the law of property, land use, and local government law. He is the associate dean for Academic Affairs and has won numerous teaching awards. Before joining Vanderbilt’s law faculty in 2013, Dean Serkin taught at Brooklyn Law School. He has also been a visiting professor at New York University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania law schools. He earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
