Christopher Serkin is a leading expert in the law of property, land use, and local government law. He is the associate dean for Academic Affairs and has won numerous teaching awards. Before joining Vanderbilt’s law faculty in 2013, Dean Serkin taught at Brooklyn Law School. He has also been a visiting professor at New York University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania law schools. He earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Suzanna Sherry’s work in the area of constitutional law has earned her national recognition as one of the leading scholars in the field. The author of 9 books and more than 75 articles, she also writes extensively on federal courts and federal court procedures. Ingrid Wuerth is a leading scholar of foreign affairs and public international law. She has written extensively on these topics for the nation’s leading legal publications. Professor Wuerth is the director of the International Legal Studies Program at Vanderbilt, she sits on the board of editors of the American Journal of International Law, and she is a member of the American Law Institute.
